How are you liking the Uncharted multiplayer? I've very excited for the game.


still getting used to it. and i'm already getting owned by the pros that have been playing non-stop since the beta started. but its still pretty fun. so far my only complaint is that there is no map, so it can be easy to get lost. but i'm sure all the pros have the areas memorized by now. and co-op is just like playing uncharted but you gotta watch each other's back cuz bad guys come from all directions. there's this one bad guy that sneaks up behind you and chokes you out silently and only a teammate can break it up. fun stuff. have you seen all the newest videos for the game? they look f-ing intense. can't wait.

I was under the impression the Beta was only for the multiplayer. You get to play the game as well?

I have seen most every video for it - I love the original and can't wait for this one.

Yeah, it is multiplayer, i think the co-op sections are separate from the story mode.

I DLed the inFamous demo - wasn't impressed. Didn't like the controls, seemed sloppy.

yeah, the demo didn't seem all that great. but i bought the game anyway for the uncharted beta thinking i could sell infamous if i didn't like it. but it grew on me and now i love it. i guess you just have to get used to the controls and physics and what-not.

Yep. It's just FUN!

Huge explosions, diving down from skyscrapers and destroying the whole block.... good stuff. The difficulty and pacing is just perfect! Plus, you can play through twice, as good and evil and the game is quite different.

Recommend it to anybody thumbsup.gif

does anyone else have Red Faction: Guerilla ?

It's the most fun game i've played ever i think biggrin.gif

It's kinda like GTA but on Mars, and EVERYTHING is destructable. Every wall, every building, every vehicle, it's insane! There's a demo on the EU store, so i guess there is on the US too.... download it now!

Yeah, no doubt it will be good, but i'm REALLY looking forward to MAG, modern warfare 2, DJ Hero, and Gran Turismo 5, all around that time....

Yeah not into any of those. FPS & a racing game that's too realistic to enjoy - meh.

GT is legendary! The enjoyment comes from mastering the cars, and collecting them! biggrin.gif

Yeah I have every GT game and regret buying them soon after I do. I just can't enjoy them anymore.

GT is a great series...probably my favorite after GTA. But yeah, the enjoyment factor does go down a bit...I played GT3 religiously, but just couldn't get into GT4...and everybody knows that GT5 is never coming out now. Although I did hear that they're working damage into the game now...which calls for a redo of all the textures and skins on the cars, which means it's either not true or the game will be delayed until 2020.

GT5 will be out this year.

Plus i reckon the damage will only be in certain modes. WRC and NASCAR probably, but i doubt they've put it on normal races kindasad.gif

definitely looking forward to uncharted 2. played the online beta and loved it. bit of a learning curve, but all the stuff you can do in it (other than shoot) make it a blast once you get the hang of everything. and that's just icing on the cake cuz i too am looking forward to the blockbuster movie-like gameplay experience.

on a side note... has anyone played the ffxiii demo? i recently bought the special edition ff7 advent children japanese blu-ray (for 39 shipped on ebay) that came with a demo of ffxiii. pretty fun, but it kinda makes me wish i could read japanese so i can undertand what's going on and not have to press buttons randomly.

I hate that they made a NASCAR mode...so pointless. But I expect them to have either damage on every vehicle/mode or none, GT has never really cut corners.

And Uncharted was an AMAZING game, one of my favorites...just an absolutely awesome experience in every way. Flawless.

that's like "plunder" mode in competitive where two teams fight over the treasure, kinda like capture the flag uncharted style. you can even throw the treasue and have another teammate pick it up to get it across the map faster.

Batman Arkham Asylum gets my blessing. Downloaded the demo a couple days ago, and it's pretty good. Excellent graphics. Only gripe I have is how Batman is off-centered as you walk around and that his cape is long; but not longer than I guess it normally would be.

yeah... i love the stealth aspect and taking out bad guys one by one. really makes you feel like the dark knight. and the free flow combat is pretty fun too. can't wait for the final build. and playing as the joker is exclusive to the ps3.

Looks like they fixed the damage a bit...I HATED that the AK took about ten bullets to bring a single guy down.
