There's a backup utility in the PS3 setting, plug a USB drive in and backup to it, then transfer to new drive when you put it in


and the MAG d/l is P2P so in theory it should be faster when everybody is on

Backwards compatibility was at the console, not the games. I believe that version isn't sold anymore.

Yeah the original 80gig had backwards compatibility, and then the 60gig had emulation, and now none of them do.

Leave your PS2 plugged in and you can still play games.

Damn, that does look amazing.

It's always a bit of a mindfluck whenever you see a game, maybe like GT5, that looks amazing and you can't possibly think of how a game could look more realistic...until the next thing comes along. Crazy.

just traded in my 360 for a ps3 today! no games or anything yet, but i already love it more than my 360! hopefully this thing wont break in 2 weeeks like the last 3 360's ive gotten! time to buy games on half.com! haha its a bummer though, that i dont have an HDTV. it'll probably be awhile before i get one too...oh well!

Yeah I got it yesterday as well. The graphics are better, the facial graphics are some of the best, if not the best I've ever seen. In the cut scenes you can actually see the subtleties of expression, I was impressed.

I laughed a couple times, there's some comedy to it. I think Chloe is the hottest character ever in a video game. There's a lot more action. It's not just going through the jungle and shooting people, there's some like 'wow this is intense' action.

I'm not finding the puzzles any harder than the original, but things flow better. So far so good. I'm enjoying it.

i'm trying not to play it cuz i've got a big final on monday. but i stopped after that sneaking mission in the beginning. and that was pretty intense. love the new takedowns. and yeah... the graphics and animations are insane. so much detail and drake's movement is so lifelike, and not stiff and robotic like other games. little things like that really add to the awesomeness.
