anybody know the diameter of the stock swaybars?...
-options
1. roll your fenders(its easy)
2. get smaller rims(cheaper than getting bigger rims)
3. get low profile tires(looks sleek)
4. raise your coil...
1200 is too much for coilovers, you can get them under a grand with shipping for ksport, d2, and megans....
a lot of clunks in the rear are worn out sway bar bushings, cheap fix but that may not be your problem/entire problem...
any good but not so expensive shocks ?...
after fooling around some with the power steering pump, I think you are right. I'll have to find a new rack and pinion and throw it on it looks like. ...

^ Yes KYBs are thicker, ive measured them too. but since you have coilovers you can adjust to your pleasure....
