Are you certain it is the oil pan? All the gaskets are on that side behind the timing cover (crank, oil pump, etc?) leak and run down and settle there...
It'll bolt up to an auto Gt tranny. I'm not sure if it's like the ST205 manual trans that can be modified to make it FWD. I would guess it is possible...

check to make sure the radiator fan plugs are plugged in. if they're unplugged, it will cause the fans to constantly run....
