Crap I thought it was cheap cuz all the other ones have more miles and are missing parts... I can use stock GT motor mounts right?

Yeah thanks I was kinda tired of seeing the 3sgte so I went for something different. Yeah u bought the one I wanted with only 20k miles and all the parTs except the box. I wish mine came with Axels cuz I don't know if stock will fit
the GT axles will work just fine.

well thats good to hear. I wont have to worry about that now. I'm curious to find out what kind of LSD the trans has. I don't think it makes a difference anyway LSD is LSD which is better than no LSD. Just have to worry about auto to manual swap then engine swap and then emissions in CA.
what are you going to do for the guages? couldn't tell if you got them in the auction?

Well I didn't get it with the auction so ill probably Buy the one on ebay for 100 bucks I don't know if any beams one will fit will it?
aslong as its off a ST202 will definitely fit, (though a pre-beams black face 3sge guage will work with additional wiring) But i recommend using the beams guage first (even if its just the rpm guage) since you dont want the reason why you cant get your engine running right, is due to a fault in wiring up a different guage.

the axles and the motor mounts work? all of them? what makes it work for the beams and not exactly for the 3sgte?

the beams uses an s54 tranny (GT) but it has LSD, whereas the st205 has an e153f.
Totally different trannys.

Man I'm so excited, I feel like a little kid with a new toy I can't wait till it arrives. YOu know something weird came up, the seller asked for my vin# something about making sure the engine wasn't stolen I've never heard of this but I guess I'll just give it to him, what could they do with it anyway right????
wait what? that doesn't make sence

Yeah I know... I'm going to call and get more details...
...if he asks for YOUR vin, it doesn't have anything to do with the engine, that has to do with a code unique to your car. confused.gif

yeah thats what I thought, Maybe they want to know what car its going into or something but for what, i don't know...
^ That's a huge no in my book...you're the buyer, they have no business with your VIN.

Truth...that just sounds really shady; like he's going to pull a VIN switcheroo with your numbers.

Has no more Celicas
Exactly. Might as well ask him for his social security number.

well I know corollas and celica GT from 2000 and up had VVTI maybe its the same sensor? All the vehicles now have vvti... What about that one that they sent you that was supposed to be good, why doesn't it fit?

I'm thinking of changing the timing belt, maybe the water pump, maybe cam gears... I don't know what else or how much that would cost...
