looks like you overwrapped it too much, too much wrap is bad

overwrapped in what way? too much overlap or too many layers? its one layer overlapped 1/2 way.

They are at the top and bottom of the runners. They blended in when I did the silicone treatment. Also DEI says that if you have too much overlap that the header could be damaged. It is on thier site at www.designengineering.com
eh, im not too worried.

hey guys, sorry about this, but i was wondering does anyone know the cable/lead running just above the manifold? cause it's been puzzling me cause i'm not sure what it is, so i can go out and get one, cause that cable is in pretty bad condition in my car, the plastic keeps snapping when u move it.
it hooks to the throttle, might be cruise control?

The one shown there on Lew's car looks like the throttle cable. I would have to see a better pic to tel for sure. Also if you trace it back it should go to the firewall if it is the main throtle cable. If it goes to the side and is connected into a box it is the cruise control.
thanks guys, lol in other words i still need to get it replaced, anywayz all is good, thanks for ur helps guys and it makes sense, my cruise control isn't as responsive now i've noticed
