^ yeah. I had the TRD clutch in my 7th gen for almost a year and it had the same effect to the day I swapped out the tranny and changing out the clutc...

Best way to diagnose is to lift that side of the car and look at/physically feel it. A "clunk" can be any part of the suspension that moves....
