hey guys lately my breaks have been squeakin. should i get new pads? or sumthin?

You can check the thickness of the pad by looking at it or feeling it. Other things to look at are: rotors warped, moisture on the wheels especially in the morning, unaligned caliper, uneven wear of brake pads, etc. Mine usually squeaks for a short while every day because I have rims and moisture/humidity rust the rotors daily because the rotors are fully exposed as compared to hub caps.

okay here's what you do.

1. take apart the brakes
2. put them back on
3. wait 3 days
4. if the noise is still there check that pin that tells you when you need new brakes.
5. mines does that but i still have alot of meat left.
6.what i did is grind that pin down a little and the noise stopped.
I don't normally drive fast, but when I do its on a curvy section of this island

if they r goin bad, change em b4 u have to change the rotors too ! otherwise it'll be pricey.
