also, check your new rotors and see if there are any new grooves appearing. If there's nothing then the scraping isn't from your brakes....
97 Avalon. Used the same pads and rotors as our car too. Doing this come spring....

Have a look in the superstrut sticky thread, I posted some stuff in there on how to diagnose problems which should help...
Definitely clean up the hub and the center bore in the rim. I have no issues mounting mine at all....
Also, as a general rule; passenger cars are designed to understeer. It's a safer, "loss of car control" scenario than say... some snappy oversteer.
Q...
Could be the master cylinder, that or could be a failed hose, wheel cylinder, or caliper. Can you be more specific with the location of the noise?...
205's have a viscous center diff that can take up the difference in speeds for a short time....
Can the stock shock absorbers handle -35-40mm lowering?
