As long as the axle nuts are tight i don't think ruining the bearings should be an issue. I havn't had any troubles with mine at all....

Make sure that you tensioned the new belts enough. It might be slipping and not spinning the AC compressor....

I dont think they'll fit(bolt pattern), thats easily fixed with an adaptor plate between the head and the itb's. As for the computer, recommend a link...
Check your plugs, and clean/replace them if needed. How old is your iginition system?Also your timing might be screwed up....
