Becuz no racecar. frown.gif There's a slim chance the Celica may make it up there but it's slim. More than likely we'll be in the Z or the Murano, our choice is pretty clear between those two. What did I miss! Why no "Beams" richee3?

How bad is the flooding in that area?

Better but not enough, need to put in a 4 banger instead of that manly VQ35DE.

Update: 04/22/13 - DUE TO FLOODING - Closed- Visitor Center Closed, Interior Trails Closed, Trail Access Parking Areas Closed, except St. Louis Canyon, and West Entrance Road Closed.
Open- Lodge, Campground, St. Louis Canyon Trail and Access Parking Area, Trail From Lodge to Starved Rock.

Matthiessen State Park - Closed- Lower Dells Area Trails Horseback and Mountain Bike Trails Are Closed.
Open- All Areas and Trails Open. Trails are open to hikers only.

Oh yea, it should be fine by the time we're there. I know the Lone Point shelter was under water, as well as the toilets and dock and everything down there. Might look a little funky.

Hey guys! You might remember me, I had the 2002 red GT-S a couple time ago.

So I am setting up a 7th gen/Toyota meet and was going to have it the 25th. I saw you guys were having it the 18th, so I am setting it for that date! So far, there's only two of us for surely going Haha! Me, and my friend Sean.

I'll be cruising down in my 2002 Corolla CE (Crappy edition). And my friend will be bringing his 2007 tC.

I'm not sure if we'll have anyone else come, I'm sure one or two 7th gens. I'm really excited, so this should be fun, lots of Toyota's.

So what do you guys need my group to bring?

Is 11a too early to be showing up?

I like the Lone Point shelter because of how secluded it is, but we can relocate if need be. Assuming all goes to schedule from here on out, we might be getting the Celica back literally a couple of days before the meet. If not, we'll probably be in the 350Z, and we'll park pretty far away from everyone else so nobody gets any Nissan cooties. tongue.gif

Seems lik 71 is open so I suspect that the flood waters have gone down enough for the lone point shelter to be OK since it's pretty much level with the road. I'm sure it'll be OK by the 18th. May be some dirt and mud covering the floors or tables, so someone bring a broom?

Probably won't make for the most scenic area either but as long as its open, that's what counts.

Damn all this rain! I'm really excited!

So we have one 7th gen that's for sure going, he's from Wisconsin. And another is really trying to come. So three of us for sure.

It's because the Corolla CE will be there, that's why I'm bringing it. Haha!!!

Oh, and it has a 3 speed trans, which is rare for the CE. The CE's came stock with 4 speeds, someone had to ORDER this car with a three speed. Haha!
