got a nice little update for you guys. we pulled the celica engine about 30 minutes ago got everything jsut about ready to go on the stand. it would have been on the stand but the bolts from the tranny were to short for the stand. tomorrow i will have some damage pics lol. then we will go from there.

brent, i finally got to play with the FIC software the other day in steffs car.
i definetly prefer the emanage ultimate over it, the ultimate has alot of little bells and wistles that the fic dont.
it has a couple cool features, but lacks editing features and compensation maps ect that make the ultimate better for me.

Tonight we are starting to put the bottom end back together! the car should be done sometime next week as long as my parts come in. i ordered an oil cooler today from summit racing. that should be here wednesday. I also just resprayed my engine bay satin black so its no longer teal!!! woop! woop!

ok, so Brent KIIIIINDA lied to you all. LOL We finally got his short block together less the water pump and oil pan on. Went together SOOO nicely. New bearings, and rings and one rod. As soon as the ARP headstuds get here the rest of the engine will be put together and get dropped back in the car. Then we can start setting up his oil relocation and oil cooler setup, along with a few other minor adjustments. Keep the comments coming guys, this car is gonna be a wicked SOB when shes done!

No big changes yet. We are revamping his oil setup slightly with the oil cooler and whatnot. But yes, the BIG changes will be when he gets the 98+ block and can really start BUILDING a motor!

i returned brents PM with the part # for the canton adapter that we use, just for refrence the thread is 3/4-16 (ford's and quite a few others also use this thread for theyre filters)
are you guys going to eliminate the stock oil cooler, and go to an external one?
is that all bearing material in those pics you posted?

I just picked up an aftermarket oil cooler from Summit Racing that i am mounting behind my intercooler. and yes, that all bearing lol thanks again for the part number!

UPDATE! so my headtsuds finally came!! i would be in the garage right now but Cam and I already have plans with some people. soo tomorrow we will get this motor IN the car and hopefully have it runnin my this weekend if we bust our asses!!!

The motor is IN the car! tomorrow it WILL be basically done, ill just need to do the break in period for 500 miles b4 i boost. im SO pumped to have my car back up in running, the car means more to me then anything.
