Because anything stock sucks. Modding is fun.

And because I can.
it all started years ago, when i first saw "perfect blue"
THAT was the car i wanted.

as for my reason, I guess I always wanted to built a nice gas powered RC car when I was a kid, but I could only offord 3rd hand stuff so I couldn't build something as nice as I wanted, so 'm doing it now, just without the RC lol
fix the POS again, get the exterior nice and clean...then sell the junk for an s2000

Sadly, I don't have any plans for this Celica...but like I've said before, I would love to get a JDM GT-4 and making it "mine." The idea of a light and agile AWD with a 300/350 hp turbo would be nasty. Focus on handling and looks, then try to up the speed a bit...but it won't need much.
Well all this modding makes me feel like the car life is like lifting. You do soo much then you hit a brick wall. In this case the brick wall for me is the awd conversion. Will I ever get to it? I highly doubt.

Well I kinda brought my GT4 by accident, was suppose to be getting a 4 door auto - aristo or chaser... but somehow i ended up with a GT4.
The main reason is simply having the power on tap, having something less common and its quite a good looking car but lets face it - its not that practical - but its a nice feeling seeing a pissed off look of the commodore driver you just smoked...
I needed to get to work faster.
It was either wake up earlier or make the car faster.

until recently I havent really wanted to do much to my car.

But then I got introduced to Auto-X this past summer, and wow.

Now I've got the bug to see what I can do to make her that much quicker.

to build a purpose built track and autox car. i've autox for about 3 years in my mr2 turbo, and now that its finally clean and resprayed (was beat up the past 4 years) i dont want to race it anymore. plus ever since i swapped the turbo motor, i've been running SM2, aka against modified z06 vettes in my region. all pros. boo.

so i bought my 95 ST for $800. theft recovery. stripping the interior, putting in a cage, kirkey race seat (hopefully), shocks, and good tires on 15" wheels. the class i would run would be E prepared, and it's pretty much other cars with the same mods. im excited. not to mention, i love the way the celica feels.

this will also do good at PAX or HPDEs (High Performance Driving Events) at local tracks. reliable and cheap. perfect
