I talked to the kid that owns it here in the tricities he was saying he wanted 6000 for it.
Keep in mind if you are thinking of buying this car has been running velocity stacks for a couple
years now, daily driven, the front bumper is cionsiderably more chipped up than the pics show.
JDM guy made me do it.

I use to see the YelliCeli all the time because the kid who bought it lived somewhere around my area... actually graduated from the same high school and class together lol
Made me sad inside most the time I saw it because it was usually dirty, and every now and then I'd see him deliver pizzas in the car. I dont think he realized how much that little car meant to all of us.

Now it makes sense why I havent seen the YelliCeli in quite some time...

When I talked to him it was pretty filthy and when he started it it had some blue/white smoke.
I was pretty bummed to see the 1st coupe featured ride in such a sad state. He is not to much
into the celicas as he thought my car was a real gtfour. The whole thing really kinda sucks.
I guess to the average person it is just a car. frown.gif

It is too bad... I joined this site 5 months before I actually got my 6gc... I actually started having dreams about the yelli celi before I got my car, I got so obsessed with it. It's actually the very car that inspired me to start doing my own mods on my car. There's just something about that engine bay that I found completely inspiring. It's even my long term goal to swap in a 20v... black top. biggrin.gif

Someone on here has GOT to have a punk sibling who wants to trade their nasty turbo Honda for his car, don't they? LOL

A turbo Honda? laugh.gif At least he should be specific. Ek9's I actually like, and the only Honda I wouldn't mind owning one day. Anyways, my opinion means nothing to this thread. A car should be cleaned up no matter what you have, it takes you places. Well, to each his own I suppose. Does that car have A/C? Maybe minor things like that bother him?

i wasnt around for this gem but maybe some one could shed some light on it for me...whats this interesting story??....as for a boosted honda trade....some one take a piece of ic piping and beat him within a inch of his life

FYI Coomer the creator of the yelli celli got a honda after the celica, respect guys. We're all in a car loving family.

I agree don't go knocking other people's choice in vehicles, think of it in a more positive light. The Yeli Celi is for sale, at a reasonable price. Someone grab a cheap DA Teggy (with the B18A its perfect. It will handle a fair amount of boost and there is no V-tec to worry about.), boost it and offer it to this kid wink.gif

See it as an opportunity, this is probably a good chance to get the Yeli celi back into the hands of one of the members on our site (or one of our friends)

If this is true that it has changed hands again he would be the third owner of this car since coomer sold it. So no he didn't buy it from coomer.

He bought it from another guy on here, 95CelicaST who sold it in better condition than it's in now
