Hey guys,

I changed my password on my regular account, and now I can't log in, so I had to make this "temp" account


I spoke with the guy for a while yesterday, and from what I gathered the car went like this:

Coomer
Me
Zach (vaughnz) - traded for a crotch rocket with next person
Jeff (6gcjeffjeff) - traded for a truck with current person
Roland (ROLAND) - current owner, and seems to be taking care of the problems the last two created

When I spoke with him told me he was a mechanic and also did autobody. He had said he had the head done up, and put in new pistons and rings, along with new cams. He is repainting the front end with the same John Deere Yellow, and seems to be selling only because he lives on a gravel road and doesn't want to tear the car up. I pleaded with him to at least come here and post in this thread to let everyone know whats going on, and put it up for sale here so that it stays in the community.

I made the mistake of selling it to someone who lied about their commitment to the online community and who ultimately trashed the car, and I feel bad every time someone spots it around here in such bad condition. If you're interested in the car send a PM to ROLAND and let him know.

I am going to meet him and the Yelli Celi this weekend. I'll give it a look over and I'll let you guys know how it fairs. Seems like the current owner has been doing a lot of work to correct the neglect from the past two.

thats good to hear, if i was on the west coast and not currently working on mine id def grab it, damn i hate being broke lol

Imagine how we feel over hear, most of us would love to buy the yelli celi and it's within driving distance, but I don't think alot of us just have $8k lying around

Good to hear the car finally went to someone who took good care of it, let's hope it stays with someone else that can do the same

Hey 95 let me know how it is.

It makes me nuts to consider this over an M3/M5 but might be worth it for 1/2 the price...just don't know if I can make it legal in VA

Perhaps they think you're an extraordinary photographer. Either that or it doesn't look so good anymore I've also noticed that it gets more expensive each time. I wish someone would just appreciate and care for it like you did; like we all care for our cars. After all it's not just a car, it spawned this whole website, its a legend (to us, or to me anyway).
