> I haven't been researching as much as I should. The first thing I did was walk into Super Autobacs and say, "I have never worked on a car before. I want to learn. I have a Celica. What should I do?" They told me to slap a turbo on it, until I told them that my car was pushing 170k miles. Then they said I was going to have to swap it out. After doing the little research I have done, I feel like that would be better anyhow. Right now they are doing some research for me to try and find something suitable for what I want for me car.
I don't have anything set in stone, so I have plenty of time to brainstorm still. I am hoping to get some good ideas from everyone at the meet.
Not to mention, at the momment I owe quite a bit of money. So I won't be able to pay for any of what I want to do for a couple months. But if I have a plan and know exactly what I want to do, things will go smooth and fast and I will have my car done quick. Hopefully it'll ride quick too.
I am going to be bringing a friend. She loves cars, but is knewer to actually working on them than I am. It'll be a good learning experience for the both of us.
Can't wait to meet you all and such. =)
Oh great

. I'm surprised that SuperAutobac's even knew what a Gen 6 was

. But anyways, you most likely have contacted Marco already, so that's good

. If you ever need anything just go ahead and PM me. My name is Derrick and I am the official SoCal Celica meet organizer and advisor
