I just played Uncharted: Drakes Fortune from start to finish - I recommend the game, it' was a lot of fun to play.

^ x2. that game kicks ass. probably my favorite ps3 exclusive. dmc4 is pretty fun too.

heavenly sword-3 days to beat-AWESOME gAME. i'd recommend renting though. luckily i borrowed it, can't foresee paying $60 to play it for that short of time. and it's ONLY SINGLEPLAYER! only benefit of beating it is you unlock "Hell Mode". maybe i'll borrow it again and take 4 days to beat it. i think 9 hours total playtime due to going back for more glyphs. ended with like 90 or something like that.

did anyone get the mgo beta code?! i just tried it last night (early this morning) and its pretty addicting. the controls are slightly different from the past mgs games but works well with the new features. damn i can't wait till mgs4 comes out. and i also got gta4. fun game but i might hold off on that cuz i can only play mgo till may 11.

Yeah i got MGO, a little slow and awkward for me, got bored pretty quickly.

I'm sure MGS will be good, but no way i'll be paying for MGO too, it should be included! thumbsdown.gif

GTA is amazing! Put about 20 hours in already! Not even tried online yet

i guess mgo is more of a hit or miss thing. its definitely different from your typical online shooter. which i think is a good thing. nothing wrong with fps games and what-not, but they're all pretty much the same. and i finally got a chance to play as snake today. love it.

pretty good price. i got a white one from ebay for $55 total before the u.s. even had them. i think i'ma jump on the $35 deal though.

Yep. I just can't stop. GTA IV is the game i've always wanted since like ~ back in the 80's when i had my Sinclair Spectrum! A game where you can do anything you want at any time biggrin.gif an amazing piece of work!

Looking forward; the GRID demo was fun so i'll probably get that, and of course, metal gear is out in a month! :droolfest:

i was playing the mgo beta as much as i could till it ended. now i'm on gta4. waiting for the review of haze to decide whether i'ma pick that up. i probably won't (unless it turns out really really good) since mgs4 is out in a few weeks and i've already paid for that in full. that was the very first time, and probably last time, i buy/pre-order a video game without checking the reviews first.

Do you have the HAZE demo?

It's on the EU store if it's not on yours.

It's pretty good. Not ground breaking, but pretty good.

I think i'm going to be playing GTA for a LONG time, there's just so much to do, i spent ages pulling tricks in a skatepark today biggrin.gif

i recommend trying the bourne conspiracy demo. at first i thought it was just another movie-to-game thing where they just try to leech off of movie blockbusters with horrible video games. but yeah, this game's pretty good so far.

It's decent, I die a lot because I don't see those split second button pushes. It's a pretty long demo.

so i got mgs4 yesterday at about 10 am when gamestop opened. i started playing around 3 pm ish and couldn't stop till early this morning. this game is everything you expected and more. you can really tell what kinda perfectionist hideo is. its just an extremely high quality game and nothing was half-assed. the story so far is pretty intense and online can get addicting.

glad to hear that. I think i'll wait a while before i get it. I'm still playing through Grid and i really love the Battlefield: Bad company demo, so i'll get that next i think.

I've heard there is a VERY long cut scene, like some ridiculous 60min or something, this true? How often are there cut scenes? This IMO is a horrible thing, I was really turned off by the games after Metal Gear: Solid on PS1 because of these annoying cut scenes.

the cut scenes are so amazing though. Id say after playing for 5 hours i probably watched 20 minutes of cutscenes. Mostly due to the long ones between acts
