i would wait to get one. i bought one and just sold it recently after beating zelda because it starting collecting dust. just not very many good games out right now.
I think Bigfoot is blurry, that's the problem. It's not the photographer's fault. Bigfoot is blurry. And that's extra scary to me, because there's a large, out-of-focus monster roaming the countryside.

because so many Wii units have been sold, more gaming companies are creating games for it. With the poor sales of the ps3 as well as the complexity of the system, youll start to see more and more gaming companies ignore the ps3. Perhaps in 2 or 3 years when the ps3 technology gets cheaper and game companies can realize games that take advantage of the technology there will be more games. But by then, it will be too late. Plus, Blue ray is out... HD DVD is going to win. What makes me say that? the porn indusry adopted HD DVD as their new standard. Enough said. =-)

I love my Wii. Still finishing up Zelda. Just keep bugging gamestop and stuff. That's where I got mine. They get a new shipment weekly.

all the games i have seen look very very childish. if you like that kind of party-game then go for it.
the adverts in the uk are a bit pathetic, games seem to consist of spraying champagne at people, blowing up balloons and lifting dumbbells.
ok if you have mates round for some beers but if would soon get very boring playing alone or without beer.

all the commercials are aiming to show off the wii's party box apeal because they are trying to reach a larger audience. But for the core gamers, no one will dispute Zelda as one of the best games out. And for the next year youll have Metroid Prime 3, the next GTA installment, the next resident evil installment, and a horror game called "sadness" which will be the first game on the Wii to recieve an "adults only" rating.

These are the simulations (ok fine... games) I have in my PC:
F1 Challenge '99 - '02 (EA) - The most realistic simulation ever. I still CAN'T master racing in the rain...
NASCAR Racing 2003 Season (Papyrus) - Old game, but it still holds the standard for racing simulations.
Colin McRae Rally 2005 (Codemasters) - Must have, rain dirt mud.. you name it, the game has it.

i think the 360 wins in most respects, only due to the fact that it's been out longer than the other 2 contending consoles. microsoft has had time to perfect the system, and right now is the best time to really showcase the power of the system cause developers are starting to really crank out quality titles.
the wii is really innovative, interesting, and fun. i wouldn't recommend playing it alone, though. the console really shines when you've got multiple people in wii sports. there aren't tons of games out for it, but this year will either make or break the console depending on how good the new metroid/mario/ssb will be.

My friends has Wii's...and its pretty fun lol... I just can't wait for about a year from now to see all the cool game coming out using the controller in different ways. xbox and ps3 will just be more of the same..just looking better.
