Wii is definatly worth it. Its by far the best console if you have friends over, and the innovative gameplay in the single player games like zelda really make the console stand out. If you are had core gamer though, id go 360 for now and Wii later. The 360+wii combo seems to make the hardcore gamers happier than just the ps3.

are you guys connected online Via the WiFi connection, or through the li'l extension they have where you can insert a Cat5 cable to get connected?

I ended up getting a Wii a couple weeks ago. I have to say the Wii Sports game that it came with is really fun. As far as being connected to the Internet, I'm using Wi-Fi because there's no ethernet port on the Wii. If you want to directly connect a Cat 5 cable you have to buy a special adapter.

(I made my own mixed drink. 4 shots vodka, 1 drop oj...enjoy)

I just got my wii this morning...its awesome!! I got trauma center:second opinion too...awesome game!
I've had my Wii, but been having trouble getting online. It's a thing between a certain modem/router from Linksys, Comcast, and Nintendo. It's just strange.

I was having trouble getting online too, so i called Nintendo and they told me to update the firmware on my Linksys router. After that everything work perfect.
