It's not really that dirty in person, it is pretty dusty though. 
The turbo doesn't say anything on it that tells what it is, just says Toyota. The one-peice design is pretty standard these days, most every turbo car out there is using it. The SRT4, for example.
No maintenance items on the engine were done other than the clutch. Normally I recommend a full reseal/timing belt/water pump, but we didn't because 1. Money and 2. This engine is a '99 so it's quite new compared to the '93 or older 2nd gens that we're usually dealing with.
