The pressure plate doesn't have splines Dan, the clutch disk does.
I would think the correct setup would be using a 3SGTE flywheel(to bolt up to the engine properly), 5SFE disk (to match the S54's splines, if thats the trans you use) and 3SGTE pressure plate. Then I believe you shall be doing it right.

3s Flywheel and disk
with a 3s pressure plate iwth 5sfe splines
