No, i dont think backpressure's an issue i dont have any cats or resonators.

Is this turbo worth it? or can i get it at a better price?

or is this better? is this kit a direct bolt on or is there more than meets the eye?

if you got a used turbo, it should be rebuilt professionally before using it.

In the us ct20b was never produced.... so a rebuild would be pretty hard to get done.

Yes the ct20b is a direct bolt on.... imho... I dont think its worth that much money. I would tell you to get yours rebuilt. Sit on some money and get something decent like agt28rs.

since you blew your CT26 just get a CT27 from ATS racing....
man id say get a gt28r, gt28rs, or gt35r. I really loved the responce of my gt28r when i had it on, spooled for me at like 2000 rpm.

well the bearings are seized, the shaft may be shot as well. i doubt there'd be any housing damage. so you still have a good housing and good compressor/turbine. where you go from here depends what you want to do with the car.

So is this thing repairable? Just in case i cant source a turbo

i dont think that turbo city place will rebuild it, but call and ask them anyways. pretty much all you have is a good housing. the rest would need to be replaced.

Im not entirely sure, how much am i looking at if i want to boost at 15psi reliably? which turbo should i hunt down, or what upgrade should i make to the turbo i have? Any help would be great. By the way, does anyone know of any places here in So cal that will rebuild a turbo?
RRE may do that, if they dont then they know places that will.

Yup, dunno where its at now. I would expect this if i were boosting at 12 or higher, but this happened at stock boost! this is way too weird, anyone what could cause this?
wow, it could have sheered off when the turbine shaft suddenly seized i suppose.

anyone know what could cause sudden lack of oil or coolant? is there a cure for it? thanks again everyone for your help.
