Hey I am making this for someone and need some constructive critcism.
I had to measure and draw the emblem part, and just kina fudged the horns
on there. Tell me whats wrong with it.

That looks bad ass, but I can't machine off of a Jpeg,bmp or any graphics
type file it has to be a cad cam format such as DXF, or iges. Auto cad,
mastercam, gibbs, proE, sldpart, and such. Converters between the two
are very expensive.

Thats the way it looks to me too. I have measured it at least 6 times.
If my screen is messed up will it show in printscreen?

only thing that i see could be fixed (just my opinion) but the horn's should start out as the same width as the oval its attached too, so its a little more even

but it looks good.

yea radius the outside edge, makes it look cleaner and not so much taller, and if u could squish it slightly it would be great, the yellow one u did was probably the best one yet

i needs to be eliptical...not circular.....

The whole emblem is made of 3 elipses (the standard toyota emblem is)

Ill fiddle around with AUTOCAD 2005, see if i can make a hot 3D one.

idk if i can link to the forum...... i think i can make a link, but inorder to open it u will need to actually have autocad2005....ill still make it, and hand it out to those who want it...and if anyone can think of a way to place it on the forum, tell me and ill try it.

1.open it with autocad.
2.hit the print screen button on your keyboard.
3.open MSpaint.
4.paste in MSpaint.
5.save as JPG.


then upload it to photobucket.

reworked the horns....gonna work on the thickness of the elipses. (unfortunatly that means going back to square one , ill have it done eventually)

u mean fillet? make the outside edges rounded?

but yeah it wont be worked on until like thursday night...i dont have the $3700 program at my house

the next one ill actually measure to size, so it will be a "lifesize" replica, then whoever wants it can ask me and ill send them the file, and they can go to a machinest and get it made.

The hardest part at least with Gibbs is conecting the Elipses into machineable
pockets. It will have a 1/32" radius on the top surface similar to the keychains
(router Look)
