The asking price is $75 Sterling.. which is ~ times 2.09 according to TD.. = $156.75 Cdn for the set.. quality yes, but ouch on the pricetag.

I d be interested too, perhaps with a good GB could we reduce costs ?? I ll talk to some friends about them and i ll see if i can find some people to buy them with me.
What if we got all the canadians together for a GB, and then just make Richard ship to ONE person, then that person ships the rest out? I could do that. (Greyhound is dirt cheap to ship)

Man those look nice. I have a set of 94-66 amber turns sitting around if anyone wants to buy them.

How do they get the Toyota logo and stuff on there? That's amazing.

KAOS if you are planning to do this, count me because im in.
The idea of a group buy is good, BUT, you need to know that these are made one-by-one practically by hand...SO, it is not like you'll get any better deal if you buy more. It's not like you're buying pre-made/mass produced items.

I understand that snapshot, but I was thinking if Richard only had to ship to ONE person in canada instead of 5 different people, then WE could save on shipping, and he saves on the hassle of course tongue.gif

you misunderstand the concept of a group buy.. most of the group buy's on this site take forever, you know why, because they are handmade.. the carbon hatches, any DCW product, i think we had a carbon fiber hood one a while ago, hell the only group buy that comes to mind that didnt involve a delay based on the time it took to make each of the items was the JDM tails.

the reason why we get group discounts for group buy's is because if one guy contacts this guy, and he makes them, he makes a small chunk of change, if we send him enough money for 20 orders ALL AT ONCE, hes got a nice little chunk of change there.

i paid DG_Performance 35$ for a throttle cable bracket for my swap, it probably cost him 3$ to make, but he had to stop what he was doing with his business and make me one, ship it out, etc, and he wasnt going to do all that for a tiny ass profit, and he knew i needed it, so i paid for it.

the motivation for this guy to make one pair of clear turns for (i think i remember something like 100 bucks) is good but not all that great, now if 20 people want them, bam, he just made 2 grand in the time it takes to get paypal, thats why group buy's cost less.
