I took a pink cup, cut it up, used two pieces, and it made my clock white. Which it was green. Now to other projects, lol.

^ That actually kind of makes sense, since green and red are opposites on the color wheel, if you had just the right pink it could feasibly cancel out most of the green.

So could a red color gel cancel the green too? I read somewhere that purple does the trick, but that just turned it a nice teal blue that everyone else has. I haven't picked up the other colors yet. I got that single purple gel for $1 rather than $6 for ever color. I'm cheap, I know

The cup that I cut up, I think it's pink, but I could be color blind, lol. And as you can see, I put one piece on another so it made it darker. And then a picture of what my clock looks like. And maybe that is blue, but I think it looks more white.

That looks pretty white to me! I'm going to go to the dollar store and buy some plastic cups now

Nice job!

EDIT: I just went to town and bought a red light gel to replace the purple one I had in there. Worked beautifully! I now have a nice white clock with a blood red background. For only $1 and about ten minutes of work. Well worth it.

lol, i just took the clock apart. popped the nasty brown cover out. then sparpied the glass of the clock! works great!
