As of right now I'm thinking we go somewhere else? I recall before the coof hit, the idea of Devil's Lake state park in Wisconsin.

I'm down with either, April is out for me but I should be available for anything else. I haven't been to Wisconsin in forever, last time I was there it was because my dads car broke and we had to hop a barbwire fence to use the phone at a cattle inseminator to call a tow. Fun times!

Tangential, I'm planning to Dragon sometime in August if anyone wants to meet up down there. I'll be snagging my California friend from an airport along the way, a bit bummed he won't drive his GRolla across the country but understandable.

Nice, we've got tickets to see Offspring, Sum41, and Simple Plan in August. I'm old so I remember Offspring and she likes Canadian boys.

Ugh I'm buying a replacement for the 1998 Mazda 626, I feel sort of your pain. I'll be literally quantum leaping to a car that's 20 years newer so that'll be nice but the hole in my bank account won't be so nice. How much oatmeal can I mix in with my ground beef before it's just beef flavored oatmeal?

I'm eyeballing a Mazda 3 late 3rd gen or early 4th gen, nothing crazy just something smaller and good on gas. The little 2.0 is plenty of engine for a commuter car, I'd considered a Civic but I just can't CVT and I hear they're higher to insure...also CVT.

I also agree with August or September?

Lost the job this week that I had for 9.5ish years, but luckily found a new one quick. So everything starts over, lol.

I like the newer Mazdas. More a fan of the 6.

I'll update the thread.

In other news I'm getting a new daily to replace the old Mazda. 190hp, 13:1 compression, should do just fine.
