I am switching all my ST brakes to GT brakes. Do I need to get a new master brake cylinder or something??

I have the HOW-TO, and it doesn't mention anything about buying a new thing.
Make sure you get the GT proportioning valve. It might be intergrated in the mastercylinder. If it is, you have to take the mastercylinder, if not, then you don't.
What does the valve look like?
