This is my first time on this forum, so I’m still getting used to it all and still learning of course...

I got a 96’ Celica GT convertible and I love it, but unfortunately it’s an automatic and for my future project with it, I need it to be manual. So I’m converting to manual, and got/almost have all of the parts I need EXCEPT the shifter cables. I’ve been calling junk yards everywhere and checking car-part.com but most of these cars were crushed with the shifter cables in them.

My question is does anyone know where I can get some, or does anyone know what cars have the same shifter cables and will be compatible? I have the 5SFE engine so it’s thw 2.2L and I believe they are different cables from the 1.8L.

go to facebook. look up "official 6gc group" but where you'll find shifter cables is through a guy in UK. "Abdul Team". ive looked in junkyards for over a year and he sourced me pretty mint ones for $60 shipped over a year ago. just a bit of surface rust was all.
