I add an automatic start button, I hardly use it but I was really sick of the cig lighter input, so I re-wired my radar detector and pushed my cig lighter adaptor behind the dash. The button has no purpos really but its a perfect fit and I get a lot of people asking me what it is for. It was simple to install and I got one off of eBay. However, the instructions that came with it were all in Japanese!! >

my mate had a old rolls royce, it kept getting nicked and smashed up, so he made the cigirete/smoke lighter the start button cool huh! he did it himself.
