yeah, i was wondering that also, I have a 94. Does anyone know without myself having to sound like a complete 'tard at the local "toy." dealer.
look under the hood if you got a silvery box with about 4 tubes then you got abs sorry i couldnt be more specific and plus who needs ABS >

ABS was an option on all 6gc's i think. They might have started doing it standard in the late years.. I really don't know about that. Do you still have your window sticker? if you do, check that.
i have a 98 celica gt and i have it.
I have a 94 GT, and I have it... Its saved me from a fender bender once, so its a nice feature to have.
my 96 SS-1 has ABS
From what I can remember when I bought my 6GC ST in 1996.
The 96-97 ST did not have ABS (BTW: No Air Con either);
The 96-97 GT models had two versions - One came with ABS as standard and the other came as an option.
Note: This is the case for France.

The ABS unit sits by the sidewall in the engine bay (towards
front headlight assemblies/ windscreen washer filler bottle.Its a silver black box with attatched fluid filled tubes leaving the unit, there's also a small control box near to it.

my 94 gt has it.... ****en hate it... atlest with a car w/o it your gonna know what is gonna happen. with ABS your never quite sure

95 ST (euro spec.) with ABS. I know it's ****s, but you can always make a swith to turn it off or on...

As far as I know, abs was an option on the 94 st. Although, I personally think that abs sucks.
