hey guys, i recently bought a clean stock 95 celica with the 7A-FE engine and im wanting to add on a turbo build.

ive never messed around with turbos so i might say some stupid stuff. but i have a few questions.

in the how to on this site the person had an upward facing exhaust manifold, was this a custom made manifold or can i buy it? liked the look of havng the turbocharger in view infront of the engine.
also im thinking of running about 8-9PSI boost, read that the engine can safely handle that without any other mods, do i also need to buy different injectors or can i keep running stock? can the stock ECU be tuned or would i need to get an aftermarket ECU for that?

Is there some info like this for 5sfe turning turbo with everything else stock ?

my advise, leave it alone! I have turboed 7A engines and its not worth the cost. if you have enough money to turbo the car, you have enough to do a 4th gen swap.

It's a challenge to turbo. Want something reliable? Swap better engine
