Cheapest Place to Purchase Toyota Auto Trans Fluid? - 6G Celicas Forums

Topic #96957 6 posts Started by narly_charley
My local dealer has it for $5.something a quart. I'm needing Type T. Any idea where the cheapest place (online ?) is to buy some? I'm needing 7 quarts (for an A245E and A246E).

Thanks!

2000 GT-S 6 SPD...SOLD!
$5 a quart is probably the cheapest since even buying bulk on Amazon 12 quarts is $67 shipped.

$5.XX is dirt cheap compared to V160 tranny fluid from Toyota at $55 a quart. lol

It's essentially ATF fluid. lolz My V160 has a label on it that says "Use ATF only" lol

Lol same deal on my T56, it has a label that says to use Dexron-III only. Then GM came out with a manual transmission fluid they say to use now that looks to be essentially Dexron-III with some additives and modifiers to make it more suited for use in a manual transmission.
