Toyota Celica Track/Lateral Bar - 6G Celicas Forums

Topic #96683 13 posts Started by DXPro
Can anyone here inform me about where I can get the rear traxk/Lateral bar for a 1997 Celica St? My searches keep wanting to find sway bars and strut bars instead of what I am actually trying to find...

I found by searching rear strut brace.

No. Those are strut tower bars. I am talking about the lateral bar that mounts to the rear strut knuckle which allows you to adjust your toe angle. I found only one result on Ebay which seems a little disappointing...I just know mine will probably end up going some day and replacing these with a sturdier bar would help a lot.
i think you're looking for these?

Yes those "rear control arms" are what I am looking for. Those look like they would be far greater than my dinky little rusted out control arms.
oem or aftermarket?

OEM is really tiny...plus I live in a state where road conditions range from pot holes, to construction, to pretty much anything that can get in its way to destroy the mechanics of a vehicle. So I was considering going for aftermarket.
Did not think there was aftermarket

I guess you can thank Cheela for that. I didn't know aftermarket existed until he/she posted a link to them. smile.gif
Wow. If they could only have the bushing for the hub!!!!
