It's been a while but hope everyone is doing well here. The time has come to sell my 6GC, and I would love to see it go to a good home within this community.
Brief summary: This Celica has been in the family since coming of the production line, one owner. Its a 1994 Toyota Celica GT swapped with a 3.0L 1mz-fe V6 rebuilt and installed by Carl at Speed-Source in Illinois. Ive always believed in OEM quality fit and finish so there are many tasteful upgrades (interior, exterior, suspension). The swap was completed in 2008 and has been reliable ever since. I drove it for about a year until purchasing an M3 and then a Corvette so it became a secondary car. Hence the swap only has about 8,xxx miles on it (chassis has 239,xxx).
Condition: This is a turn-key swap, I've never had any mechanical or maintenance issues with the engine. However, I believe the AC Compressor may need replacing, as the AC is sporadic. Additionally, there are some minor scratches and nicks you can find in the photo album listed below. However, I just recently had the paint reconditioned and the roof re-sprayed to fix some sun fade ($1,200). Looks amazing. The battery is new, the tires are good, and just passed inspection. Overall a great 6GC with a fun engine, tight suspension, and damn good exhaust note.
Price: >>SOLD>>
Reasoning: I've seen swaps listed for less, and I've seen man listed for more. I'm realistic that the car is not perfect, but it's loaded with QUALITY parts and a rare V6 swap that is reliable. Serious inquiries only please, list of modifications and pictures below.
