Topic #95320 6 posts Started by hotgt4
Hey 6gc

Im running 215 45 r17 tyres on a 8 inch wheel so my tyres are stretched and im after better handling, The offset of my wheels are 35p

To get better handling id need to go to a 235 45 r17 ?

What size Tyres are you guys running on your GT4 ?

Thanks

I run 225/45/17 on OZ chrono's. Dont know which width the OZ's are though.
if you're after better handling, I suggest some upgraded swaybars and strutbars. They make a huge difference

Oh yes i understand that i have a beatrush 3 point front strut brace and new shocks all round on my gt4,
but i have 215 45 R17 on a 8 inch rim so my tyre is stretched, and by maybe going up to a 225 or 235 i will have more tyre on the road which will give more grip to road, and by that better handling smile.gif

225 is enough for your 8" wide rim. Although most people do go with 235.

I'm running 215/40/17 right now and it's stupid stretched. I'll be getting 235/45/17 pretty soon.
