i just hooked up some 5.25 inch speakers with crossovers and tweeters in the front what i need to know is the cross over supposed to be grounded... meaning i have an extra pin out on the cross over set there are seven pin outs... 2 for the head unit 2 for the tweeters and 2 for the cones whats the other one for

i got symptoms where i turn up the volume it gets distorted really bad... but down low sounds good... i know its not the quality of the speakers they are excelleron kenwood speakers i just dont have any of the manuals...

hmmmmmm, i havent heard of a 7 wire crossover. i wouldnt ground it. as far as the distortion at high volumes, check your gains because it is probably in you amp if the speakers are good. have you checked kenwoods website to look for the manual?
