at the front or back of the sill? from the outer edge of the door sill? that's not the widest point of the car though.

Back of the sill. Outer edge would be nice. The front wouldn't be bad to have too as an additional measurement.

That was awkward to do alone.
Looks like about 66 inches. I measured from the sill to the center console, 30 inches, then the center console is 6 inches wide, and another 30 on the other side.

Well I measured from the outside to outside as best as I could but there could be a few inches error. I can try to get something more exact, maybe in an online manual somewhere with some alignment dimensions.
