Need replacement BEAMS 3SGE crank. Replacement question (HELP) - 6G Celicas Forums

Topic #94773 8 posts Started by ST204BEAMS
Hey 6gc,

So after months of working on my BEAMS swap i finally got it running only to find out that it has a REALLY bad knock frown.gif. Quite the spirit breaker you might say... So now i am looking for a replacement crank and possibly rods for the BEAMS redtop 3S-GE. Now i found a company that sells re-manufactured cranks, and they sell the crank for the 1st Gen 3S-GE or the 2nd Gen 3S-GTE. So the question is are there any differences in the cranks? or am i okay to use one of these as a replacement for the crank in my BEAMS 3rd Gen 3S-GE??

Here's the site im looking at: http://www.northernautoparts.com/ProductDe...?ProductId=3258

Thanks in advance!

you would be better going to mr2.com and get a real beams crank. oh just remember the gasket set is 400 from japan, and takes 6 weeks.

Are you suggesting i hunt around on the classifieds and see if anyone has a spare BEAMS crank for sale?

Could you please point me in the right direction as to where to get the gasket kit?

Thanks!
Hold your horses. He says 6 weeks because it's a special order part 95% of the time. Let me ask a friend of mine overseas. But before doing that. Go here and bumper this thread. The member hasn't signed in, in 4 days
