are the injectors clogged?

Talk to 97sccelica, he waited to put on the new fule pump and it ran too lean and Weakend a piston or somthing, so maybe you shouldnt wait
you have to check which one your missing spark, fule,or air... then go from there...

but since you did change your injectors the problem might be there... and since you don't have the bigger pump to go with them in yet.. you might not be getting enough pressure from them... and also try changing the spark gap back to stock.

I doubt it will run if you don't do anything else to change the fuel delivery. Sure, at idle it will be in closed loop mode and will constantly be trying to high stoich, but its can only compensate a certain amount. I would be willing to bet that you're way outside that amount. Figure out what size the stock injectors are and figure out what percentage you changed the inj size. Then dial back the SAFC low throttle map by that amount and I'd be willing to bet the car will run. A really crude way to do it would be to just turn the fuel pressure down until it runs, but thats not really a good idea.

i would say do a quick check and toss the old injectors back in... see if it runs fine like that... narrow down the problems as much as possible and take it from there
your probably running really rich like speedtoe said.

lean out the SAFC, the ecu still thinks that the enjectors are at factory size, so it opens them at the same pulse.

your injectors are a lot bigger than stock.

have you checked the plugs for any signs of being way rich, like being wet?

this same thing happened to me

the engine wasnt recognizing the higher CC of the new injectors....replace your factory MAP sensor with a 2 bar MAP sensor off an mr2 turbo or supra (depending on which ct26 turbo you're using)

i used the 3sgte 2 bar map out of mr2 turbo and it fixed my problem....i didnt run the car long on the new injectors but it still ran!

you could pick one up off the mr2 boards for dirt cheap.....and it wouldn't hurt to go to advance auto or pep boys and have them air blast the injectors clean (costs about $10)
you dont need a 2 bar map for it to run.....it is a good idea since they're cheap enough...i got mine for about $20 off mr2 boards

for a cheap and easy safety backup....that's all i'm sayin

You can also use like 3 check valves in your map sensor line instead of a 2 bar!
