Topic #9413 18 posts Started by integra_killer
Im getting 17 inch borbet rims (almost like celi94 has)
and im not changing my ride height
will my car look too 'tall' ?
does anyone else have 17 inch rims and left their ride height stock?
It will look tall.
when i got my 17's for my Celi, i got the 205-40 series and it was like a 4x4.

I have 17's at stock height and it looks fine. I would like to get it lowered but it doesnt look bad like it is.
When I first got my RS-5s, hell even the stock rims, John would ask me when we were gona go rally that bitch cause she was so high. I would say that the next thing that you should do is get some lowering springs to help kill the gap. But it will look high compared to the other cars out there.

When I got my 17's...people asked if I wanted to go four wheeling alot, but eibach prokit fixed that
I have 18's on with stock height. I have 215/40 tires. There is a little space between the top of the tire and the wheel well, but check out my picts in my profile.
look at the last pic in my profile. I am on stock suspension with 17's and 45 seriese tires. The back is fine (loads of speakers back there) but the front is a little high. BUT, that will be fixed one of these days...

I finally dropped my ride yesterday. It looked ok on stock, but now I love it. I couldnt believe the difference. >smile.gif>
if 17" rims dont actually change the height of the car, why would it look like a 4x4? i dont understand
