Cost of Premium Body Kit installation - 6G Celicas Forums

Topic #9412 11 posts Started by Redline_Racer

After drooling and day dreaming over this Yellow Celica on the Home Page I got curious on how much would it cost to get a kit installed like that, with the moldings and everything. I am not talking about the price of the kit but just how much would you think the Installer would charge?

thanks,
-Brandon
That's a good question for some competant body shops in your area. Go to some shops, ask if they can do it, ask if you can see some of the work they've done, and ask for some estimates. >wink.gif>

New Toyota project coming soon...
with the molding and everythin? i would imagine around 800-1000 dollar range. i could be wrong.

That yellow one has some custom sideskirts. That alone is gonna cost you a pretty penny, but I don't know how much.

Molding isnt THAT much more work, all ur doing is filling in the cracks, if you know how to use bondo you can mold ur own stuff.

its alot more than bondo work if you want to do it right, you have to actually mold the skirt to the car with glass or it will crack.

Well yeah the skirts will be tougher but as far as the bumpers go, its basically filling in the cracks.

its all relative as to where you are located and what kind of shop you go to. my friend paid 3K for a show installation at a performance shop (club conceptz) on a full molded blitz kit, spring and strut/shock installation, and wing install.
