As far as I am aware no one made one...
I looked into calendars last year for another celica group and it would cost $30 before shipping just to PRINT a calendar in Australia and to me that's ludicrous.

http://www.vistaprint.com/product-presenta...sentationId=699Ok, so it adds another $1.50 for premium glossy but the more you buy the less they are.
Here's two more I came across:

I had mentioned possibly taking the torch on this one but then some life happened haha
I had lightly looked around for some printing companies but I didnt see the option for custom designing both the date page and the image page on any of the sites. That to me was a big must have, especially how well the last couple calendars have gone using that method.
Id like to use the site Malpaso used but I dont think that was a US company.
We had also briefly discussed some alternatives to a Calendar. I dont remember if we came up with any.
Maybe some 6GC posters/collage posters?

Posters would be cool. On my laptop my wallpaper shuffles through several pics of celicas (malpaso's is one of them) I have it hooked up to my wall mounted TV. Love walking in my room and seeing celicas on my wall

A collage poster would be better I think. Let's be honest here, who in this day and age actually uses a physical calendar anymore? A poster is something you can keep up for an eternity and it'll be relevant. Then it'll have to figured out how big to make it, and how many cars etc... I think a yearly COTM poster would be nifty, or have one where you can submit and vote on the cars to be used.
Well, obviously people bought the calendar but who actually used it instead of their phone or computer? Is what I meant.

I have to agree with this actually. I bought the calendar last year and I love it, but I only wrote in it once I think. Poster would be neat.

I used my calender more for the date than anything.
It was small to write in, and I usually just used it in my office to glance over to figure out the date, and when other things need to be done/how much time I had to do them.
Plus it was cool to see my car in a calender

yup, same for me. although I do occasionally write on it.
I would be up for the poster idea too.

thinking of the poster collage idea...myself being a stickler for quality, mashing a bunch of photos with opposing compositions and styles would look like crap (i think..i havent really thought into it 100%)
shots like these below would be great and poster worthy, but then orchestrating such a gathering is a little hard since nobody is really near eachother.
any thoughts or suggestions?

something like this may be attainable if lighting is generally the same for everyone throwing in a picture

I was thinking about the collage too, and how to make it professional in appearance. A gathering is obviously one solution, another would be to have a theme for the pictures to be used. Or could do a "scrap book" look with pictures slightly overlapping one another in varying degrees of rotation. That or fading them into each other could be cool. The group photo might be the best solution, maybe a photo for each region and playing on that kind of theme for the poster. There's a million and one ways to go about it I suppose.

I used local company for printing. Just designed everything and posted 25 pages of "something" to print. No big deal. I need calendar only to have instant view on dates during a month to be able to plan work or meetings in a second. When with sheet is shown also something I like even better... I never write on it.
To print one calendar for my self is question of $25-30. Or I can buy some universal "sports car" one in local store for $8. So only what I wanted is to know if I can get something here what meets my needs for $20 max...

8 from 12 is not bad. Sadly any COTM rules don't say participants need to have picture in suitable resolution for printing. So even those 8 no need to exist in good enough resolution at all.
That's issue I faced from the first moment. Not just 12 pictures you need. You need 12 pictures in high enough resolution. Good luck with that

A calendar seems to be much easier than most any of the other options we have.
How about a design where instead of image on top page and dates on the bottom, we enlarge the document size to 11x17(or similar) and have a downsized calendar on the lower portion of the image?
I am more for the image than the dates, but I know some of you may lean the other way a bit. If this is an idea people can get onboard with, I can set up an image submission thread and see what I can get out of it.

That would be cool, as I've seen calendars like that before. That or maybe have the backing extend below the pictures and have a yearly calendar there, then more people can be in it than just twelve.

Photobucket has a sale on calendars until Friday, they're $10 each. Not sure what the customization is like or if anybody would still be interested, just throwing it out there.

why make it so complicated.
Look if someone steps up to the plate, pick the pictures of your liking. order 20 calendars, and sell them first come first served. I mean, at this rate, might as well plan 2016 rather than 2015. because ive never seen such and indecisive group.
some will like this, some wont. cant please everyone. There are some sites, that you submit the pictures, and create the calendar, and anyone can order directly from the site, more pricey, but hey.. that way no one can say money is being made, by who started the initiative.

Folks, what is happening here is pretty normal. I have faced this many times especially on forums in my country. People complain about the way things are done and when giving chance for change (doing things different - better - way) nothing happens. I usually say "better to have 50% of something than 100% of nothing".
For 2015 I have calendar sorted (it would be nice to remember amazing 2009 to me

). But 2016 is problem... February has +1 day so "recycling" is not an option. So I will make Celica calendar for sure. Only question is: 6gc.net's one in a batch or single Malpaso's one... 50% of something than 100% of nothing?

I am in for both ideas, the poster and the calender. The poster example above is excellent. Perhaps the Mods can start a poll on how many calenders each of us want etc and have people send money upfront and reserve a spot.
