front bearing 90369-38003 from toyota price 73 usd Each..

seal kit 04422-20110 from toyota price 32 usd each..

so while i dont mind paying much for that, have you guys, or better yet does anyone swear by aftermarket stuff....

Ive been getting almost all oem... so... i just want to see what u guys are using...

Yeah I had to buy all that stuff last year, and a new steering knuckle frown.gif Bank account cried a little lol. Felt it best to stay OEM. I feel like if you install it right though, that's a good investment not like you replace those parts often.

I've used Timken bearings with no real problems other than destroying one when I drop a wheel into a mountain pothole.

Has no more Celicas
I second what Brian said. I've been using Timken bearings with no issues, except for that one time when I was 17 and didn't tighten the axle nut tight enough so I replaced the bearing again a week later.

Ok timken. What about hubs. Mine are rusted.

clean the hubs up with a wire wheel. as long as the stem that the bearing is pressed onto is ok, its reusable.

thanks, i was looking in rock auto, they have the timken bearings, and the seals, no kit. so ill probably order from them

I used a Timken axle seal for 8 months or so and didn't have any problem with it, but most of the seals from Toyota are not real expensive (except that damn rear main) so id rather go and get the Toyota seals just so I don't have to Dick with it.
What mechanics have told me is sometimes the aftermarket seals are fine, but sometimes it just seems to fail for no reason and it's kind of a crapshoot.
I think I only paid $70 for all the seals including the axles and cams, crank ect, then another $50 for that rear main
