anyways today was very productive. after the stupid ps pump was in
decided to take the old ps low pressure line, and toss it...
went to work and got my line straightened..
after a few bends here and there obtained this...
had to make a bead to avoid hoses slipping
tossed the old one in the recycle
this is not paint, i tried something new. i used shrink tubing, protects better. but pain to do...
makes it look better, but the curves suck...
gives it a more professional look..
i also fixed some loose wiring from the radiator relays... and now i have to make a new mount for the reservoir, i was going to use aftermarket, but will stay oem
probably need a cleaner one...

Tried having the nose of the car lifted while turning the wheel lock to lock, and the engine off, topping it off as needed?

in the spirit of keeping this thing alive, and want to drive it to the fullest...
yesterday spend 3 hours dropping the subframe, to install a new steering rack... we will see how long this one lasts.
all my problems started after a track day. the rear header probably cooked it, or it was my fault for not properly diagnosing the leak.

of course i decided to update the hoses, as i reused old hoses.. Got some new ones from dealer top portion is from a Highlander and bottom portion from a celica

the main thing is to swap to a compressor of a 1grfe, the one on the left, after a year and a half, i miss a/c

and of course remove all the unnecessary wiring that was left because i was lazy

had a lot of trouble to get the air out of the power steering system, but i found the vacuum leak, and it was fixed. The ps lines were flushed, air was removed, and the car was put back together and sent for alignment.
it drives better now..
