I'm in the market for some new motor mounts, and after searching on toyodiy, I can't exactly pinpoint which mounts I need. The car is a 95 Celica GTS, 5SFE, Manual trans, and I'm looking to replace the front mount, as well as the rear dreaded trans mount.

After Looking on toyodiy, I've come up with the following part numbers:

BRACKET, ENGINE MOUNTING, FRONT(FOR TRANSVERSE ENGINE): 12311-74180
BRACKET, ENGINE MOUNTING, REAR(FOR TRANSVERSE ENGINE): 12321-74320

However, there's also a bunch of other things listed under Engine Mounting, like Insulator assemblies and Stabilizers. And after searching on Rock Auto, they have front and rear mounts for a standard transmission from multiple brand names, however none seem to match with the above listed mounts.

Can anyone point me in the right direction as to what I need?

Also, is there a brand that should be preferred over another? Or would it be best to go with an OEM mount from toyota?

check rockauto if it comes out to be cheaper they have both front and rear.

you also forgot to check this sticky. this is where i ordered my front one and many various oem parts due to discount and free shipping over $75 i believe. but only one of those employee who can get you the discount works there now. well what mount do you need? do you need the bracket that bolts to the transmission or the mount that bolts to the body of the car? I posted the part numbers for all the mounts in this thread

Part numbers for the mounts are:

Front Trans Mount 12311-74180
Front Body Mount 12360-74050
Drivers Trans Mount 12325-74240
Drivers Body Mount 12372-74450
Rear Trans Mount 12321-74320
Rear body Mount 12371-74410

These are not cheap from the dealer, so i suggest you plan ahead and find them from a junkyard or on ebay

I'm not sure to be honest. I had my car at shop for other things, and had some speculation that mounts needed to be done and he confirmed that was the case. Im going to crawl under there now and take a look, as i didnt realize there was two parts to each, I thought it was just one mount that bolted to the body.

Would these part numbers include the rubber as well, or strictly just the metal mounting brackets?

Took a look under the car, and the rubber has slight cracking on them, but all of the brackets are intact and not cracked, from what I could tell.
So from the image posted above, I'd gather the mounts I need are:

Front: 12360
Rear: 12371a

I managed to find these on Rock Auto, for about $60 for front and $20 rear. Also checked the link to Conicelli Toyota Parts and it came out to be 83 for the front and 60 for the rear. Would it be worth while to spend the extra couple of bucks to get the OEM toyota ones, or should I just get the rock auto aftermarket ones?

Those are just reference numbers for the actual part number.

Those numbers are all from ToyoDIY for my '98 ST204. I had a type A passenger side mount.

So the full part number would be the bottom, next to the price? Did you end up doing with OEM parts, or Aftermarket?

Yep, the part numbers are the 10 digit numbers on the bottom. I ended up ordering an aftermarket rear mount and passenger mount from RockAuto, replaced my front mount with a mount from one of the BEAMS I ordered, and added poly inserts to the front and rear. Driver side mount is still original, shame on me.

How'd you like the poly mount? I've been debating, but my car will never see a track so I was leaning towards just new mounts.

Dustin hooked me up on my front mount, so I went with it and ordered a rear. It definitely stiffens things up quite a bit. It's not bad for a DD but vibrates a bit more than I'd like. If I had to do it over again, I'd just go with replacement mounts but what I want out of my car is different than what 90% of members on 6gc want.

I think I'm just going to order OEM mounts, rather than aftermarket. And skip on the poly for now.

Well I priced them out and they're about 60 and 80 from the US dealer, and 160 and 200 from the Local dealer (Canada).
Looks like i'll be ordering from the US..
