big no no, right there. that yellow strap is going to break the connector off the vvti sensor, please be careful, they are expensive and hard to look for,

Oh thanks for telling me about that strap i just re-positioned the straps so no connectors are near any of the straps.
I'll probably be on here a lot know that I'm doing this swap asking a lot of questions and looking for any advise that anyone has to give.

Throttle position sensor is broken. That'll set you back about $50 for a brand new one, part number 89452-02020. Looks like the wiring and a few other things will need some attention but should be a fun project.

I want to know too. I spun a bearing in mine, a 99 Celica, and I can buy the upgrade. I don't know what else I will need to complete the swap. I can buy the engine and transmission complete with the harness. What else will I need?

We need more information. Is your car a GT or ST? Auto or manual? I have a writeup in the stickied that will be very useful for getting you started in the right direction.
