KBB for a good condition 80k miles MT car is about 7k

Typically I've been buying Toyota's with blown motors for 1/4-1/2 KBB value,.
So if it says 7k offer 1750-2k,. The spyder is on my radar for a V6 swap though, so I would probably go as high as 3500 but it would depend on condition.

If it were me I wouldn't pay too much over $2K since there are some runners on eBay for $5K at this moment. There were also some that sold between $4-5K not too long ago.

too complicated, has rod knock. clean title, the runners on ebay are salvaged and or north cars, i hate rust. But its not so sure ill get it.
a 2gr is a tight fit in the car, and too complicated. there are better options.

My Celica has lived it's whole life in Chicago and only has some minor rust in the door corners, rest of the car is CLEAN.

Well, where I live even cars from the 60's and 70's usually have very minimal rust if they've stayed here their entire lives. Anything outside of surface rust is unacceptable when buying a car around here, I guess it's funny how things vary from region to region.
