I put 4 1/2 of quarts of oil in my car and it looks like I could keep pouring oil
Did I put to much ???
What's the worst case that could happen if I topped it over ??
Owner's manual says 4.1qt for the 5sfe (with the filter)
Check your dipstick, having too much oil is a bad thing. Air can get into your oil if you have way too much, it'll stick to things and thrash your engine. 4.5 quarts should be safe though.
you will be fine, even a little over the marks on the dipstick
