I have a package from a seller to a buyer, except I'm not the buyer. I've contacted the seller, he was supposed to be getting a hold of FedEx to get the package from me last I heard a week ago. I've also contacted the buyer with no response. The seller is over in the UK so sending it back on my dime isn't an option. The buyer is in Canada and I don't have any name or address to send it on to him, also don't want to do that on my dime either.

Should I just sit on this thing forever? I alerted the seller the day I got someone else's package but I'm sort of getting tired of playing chase. Unfortunately it's nothing I can use.

So did the seller accidentally ship it to you instead of the real buyer?

If so, the seller SHOULD give you a pre-paid shipping label - whether that is to correct the last leg of shipping, or to return it to the UK.

If the seller does not do that, or will not communicate with you after multiple documented attempts, then I guess that makes the item yours. Much like reporting money you found to the police. If the owner doesn't want to come forward to collect then it becomes yours.

>Hi mate,

I am waiting for FedEx to get back to me and seeing if they can collect from you for me. I will know by tomorrow at the latest. I couldn't get in touch with them until today.

Hope thats ok,

Thanks for helping out with this. I owe you one.

2-24-14, which is a week after I let him know. I got it on the 20th. I'll message him again but damn, how long does it take to buy a shipping label and email it? I've sent him all my contact info and the address from which it would be re-shipped.

If it's a gauge bezel from DCW, I didn't get mine. Trying to contact them but no one is replying and it's making me feel like I'm out $80. I'm pondering filing a paypal claim.

It's part of a bumper and a grill.

I don't want to out anyone for their mistakes, but it's been over two weeks now. If anyone can get a hold of the buyer for me so I can get this thing out of here. I don't want to be responsible if something happens to it, it gets damaged, etc.

Finally got a hold of him today, looks like it's getting sorted out.

This was me who sent the bumper cut to the wrong guy. frown.gif

I used Bitters address by mistake. We spoke just afterwards and then I forgot all about it until I got his PM today.

I've spoken to Bitter over on newcelica tonight and I have arranged to have the bumper collected on Wednesday with FedEX , obviously at my expense as it my stupid mistake in the first place.

I have also pm'd Mandrek tonight too, who was the member on here who bought it. Just putting him in the picture as well.

Hopefully this will all be sorted out this week.

You are arranging the package to be shipped back to you?
If yes, wouldn't it be cheaper to send money to Bitter, so he ships it directly to the buyer?

If Bitter agrees of course.

No, to be shipped to the buyer, not to be returned to me.

glad that's sorted out. you seem to be doing a lot of business on here so it's good you figured it out.
I would've been pissed if I was Mandrek and didn't get my part.

also, Bitter, you're a good man for doing this. Not a lot of people would even care to do anything about it. they'd probably just keep it and resell it.
