>Id say that out of the box, most of these coilovers have a stiff spring rate, if you are set on getting coilovers and only plan on DD'ing the car, id possible look into contacting the company you end up choosing and have them send you a set with a lower spring rate. Itd lessen the loss of comfort when you switch to coilovers.
Id say if you only plan on DD'ing (and not lowering, stancing, racing, etc), a strut and spring setup would be the better option

Yeah haha I said not too expensive, I had to look over my own comment again for that one.
I do actually want to lower the ride height so that the car has a better stance (Not stupid low though) and I figured if I put a set of COs then I can adjust the ride height when I get new wheels as well. As far as calling the company and getting softer springs, that's not a bad idea. I may do that seeing as it will be my daily driver.
I've changed out struts, tie rod ends, etc on other cars and I've experienced the sound and the feeling a few times before. When I drive on smooth roads it's fine, when I hit a pothole or slight bump it starts clicking like crazy. I check my tie rod ends, ball joints, etc and they're good. When I push down on the driver side of the car it makes the noise and the car keeps bouncing well after I stop putting force on it so I'm almost certain it's the strut or the strut mount or possibly both in my situation. I just figured it'd be a good time to upgrade.
